Operation Clean Sweep
GALENA, Alaska-- Derek Gronlund and Dave Vandergriff, Marsh Creek LLC employees, drill through four feet of ice on the Yukon River, March 19. Marsh Creek LLC, a contractor for the 611th Civil Engineer Squadron, is building an ice bridge to move supplies for demolition of the former Kalakaket Creek Radio Relay Station that is located 310 miles northwest of Anchorage.
