F-15 transferred to aviation museum

ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- The retired F-15 sits in front of Hangar 4 waiting to be towed to the Alaska Aviation Heritage Museum June 13. This ground instructional training aircraft was transferred to the AAHM in Anchorage where it will be restored and displayed. It is one of two GITA birds to be transferred to the museum.
