FY2008 Secretary of Defense Environmental Awards

Elmendorf has participated in the Legacy project since 2003 and is now participating in the ESTCP-funded Avian Radar Validation study. Radar application has enlightened Elmendorf pilots and Flight Safety, and flight operations now avoid peak nighttime migration concentrations.
