Red Flag-Alaska brings F-22 units together
ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Staff Sgt. Sara Rosner runs through the final checks on an F-22 Raptor from Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., before take off during Red Flag-Alaska July 29. Red Flag-Alaska is a Pacific Air Forces commander-based field training exercise for U.S. coalition forces flown under simulated air combat conditions. It provides joint offensive counter-air, interdiction close air support, and large force employment training in a simulated combat environment.
