Dental squadron captains earn residency

ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Maj. Gen. Gar Graham presents a residency graduation certificate to Capt. Kelly Gerhardstein during the ceremony at the Susitna Club Aug. 14. Gerhardstein was one of three members of the 3rd Dental Squadron to receive their certificates from the Advanced Education in General Dentistry here. The year-long program gives additional training to the new dentists so they can provide dental care without supervision. Graham is the Air Force assistant surgeon general for dental services.
