BEEs, CEs join forces

Front to back, Staff Sgt. Kevin Spranger, 379th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron readiness and emergency management flight, Senior Airman John Matlock, 379th Expeditionary Medical Group Bioenvironmental Engineering Squadron, and Staff Sgt. Theodore Van De Sample, 379 ECES, conduct a survey for simulated hazardous materials during an exercise, Aug. 12, in Southwest Asia. The 379 ECES and 379 EMDG trained together to better integrate their response to a bioenvironmental hazardous situation. Sergeant Spranger is deployed from Moody, Air Force Base, Ga.; Airman Matlock is deployed from Lackland AFB, Texas, and Sergeant Van De Sample is from Elmendorf AFB, Alaska.
