Nebraska Guardsman frisks a terrorist during Alaska Shield/Northern Edge 07

NORTH POLE, Alaska – Government and civic leaders look on as Sergeant Adam Dack, Nebraska National Guard, pats down a simulated potential terrorist attempting to pass through the exercise entry control point May 9 during a simulated multiple vehicle attack on the North Pole Refinery Complex. The scenario was part of the Alaska Shield/Northern Edge 2007 exercise, which runs May 7-18. Various government and civic leaders were invited to observe the day’s activities to learn about interagency cooperation between the Department of Defense and civil authorities. (Staff Sgt. J.G.
