Fighter squadron converts to Raptor
ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Megan Baldino, a reporter from the NBC affiliate in Anchorage, interviews Lt. Col. Michael Shower after he accepted command of the 90th Fighter Squadron during a ceremony here May 10. The historic change of command the squadron's official conversion from the F-15E Strike Eagle to the F-22A Raptor. The 90th FS is the second operational F-22A Raptor squadron and the first for the Pacific Air Forces Command. The squadron will receive its initial wave of Raptors Aug. 8.
