Putting gas on planes

ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Staff Sgt. Jesse Winn, 3rd Logistics Readiness Squadron, regulates the amount of Plus 100 being blended into the JP-8 aviation fuel. Elmendorf began the using Plus 100 additive in their JP-8 aviation fuel Sept. 1. The additive helps prevent buildup in F-15 Eagle and F-22 Raptor engines; therefore it will reduce the amount of maintenance needed on those engines.
