ROTC cadets honor 9/11 victims
ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- University of Alaska Anchorage Air Force ROTC cadet Nicholas George holds the American flag steady while waiting to begin a memorial run Sept. 11, 2009. The ROTC cadets ran around Elmendorf for 24 hours beginning at 8:46 a.m., the time the first of the World Trade Center twin towers was hit in 2001.
