Aircraft performs gear up landing at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska

ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska-- An Army Citation-560 aircraft was forced to perform a gear-up landing at the Elmendorf airfield at 3:24 p.m. Oct. 6, 2009. Emergency response personnel quickly arrived at the scene. Three people were on board; no one was injured in the accident. An investigation will determine the cause of the accident.
