Red Flag- Alaska 10-01
ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- A Royal Thai air force C-130 Hercules flies into Alaska’s horizon just shortly after takeoff Oct. 15 during Red Flag-Alaska 10-01. This is the fourth RF-Alaska exercise the Royal Thai air force has participated in. The first year of participation was in 2003. By participating in RF-Alaska, Thailand continues a close diplomatic relationship with the U.S. which goes back 176 years making Thailand one of the longest allies the U.S. has had.
