Statics get washed
ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska - The nooks and crannies of the P-86 static display in front of the 3rd Wing headquarters building are cleaned after crews washed the aircraft Aug. 30. More than 70 volunteers from 15 squadrons participated in the Fall Wash. The static displays must be washed twice a year according to an Air Force instruction.
