Col. Mark Chance joins Master Sgt. (Ret.) Louis and Lisa Bowles in cutting the ribbon to the Staff Sgt. Timothy L. Bowles Community College of the Air Force Center for Excellence room in the Wired Cafe, Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska. This room was dedicated to their son, Sergeant Bowles, May 19, 2010. Sergeant Bowles was killed while deployed to Afghanistan in 2009. "The best way to honor Sergeant Bowles memory is to use this room," said Staff Sergeant John Reddick. Colonel Chance is the 3rd Mission Support Group commander and Sergeant Reddick is with the 3rd Logistics Readiness Squadron and a close friend. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Cynthia Spalding)
