673d Air Base Wing now official

JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- Members of the 673d Air Base Wing (673d ABW) render their first salute to the commander during the unit's activation ceremony July 30. The 673d ABW is the supporting unit for Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson which is comprised of over 6,000 military, civilian and contractors from both Elmendorf Air Force Base and Fort Richardson Army Garrison near Anchorage, Alaska.
