F-15 Eagles fly their separate ways
JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- Maj. Gavin Peterson, a pilot with the 353rd Combat Training Squadron, and Airman 1st Class Derek Harris, a crew chief assigned to the 19th Aircraft Maintenance Unit, check flight controls on an F-15 Eagle Aug. 24. Three of the last four F-15 Eagles, 19th Fighter Sqaudron, to leave JBER flew to their new destinations this morning, all three heading in separate directions.
