JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- The last F-15 Eagle assigned to the 19th Fighter Squadron at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson taxis down the runway as it prepares to take off and leave Alaska for good, Sept. 24. The F-15 has occupied JBER for the past 28 years and was with the 19th FS since January 1994.
