Training to be mission ready

JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- Sgt. Marvin Thornsberry looks down the sight of an M119 105 mm howitzer as section chief, Staff Sgt. Tizzino, looks on, Oct. 5. Both Soldiers are with the 1st Section of the Alpha Battery from the 2nd Battalion of the 377th Parachute Field Artillery Regiment. Members of the 2-377th PFAR simulated a two-gun raid, firing into "enemy territory," as part of some mission-ready training.
