How'd this crater get here?
JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska ? Pfc. Jerry Riveria, 1st Squadron (Airborne), 40th Cavalry Regiment, simulates marking a spot of a crater with a stake March 31. Members of the 1-40th did some hands-on training on how to analyze a crater, telling what type of munitions were used, where it came from, whether it was a high-angle or low-angle shot and approximately the distance the shot was taken.
