Little Rock C-130s assist with Spartan exercise

JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska - A C-130J model Hercules from the 19th Airlift Wing, Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark., sits on the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson flight line, April 4, while members of the 732nd Air Mobility Squadron load a 32-foot platform consisting of a Humvee and howitzer onto the cargo floor. This was in preparation for a heavy drop and personnel drop performed with the 3rd Battalion, 377th Parachute Field Artillery Regiment. The exercise marked the first time Soldiers of 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division worked with the Air Force's newest C-130 variant.
