Dyess C-130 come from the far south to participate in RF-Alaska
JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- Airman 1st Class Seth Hertler, 39th Airlift Squadron, helps rig a parachute of a cargo platform to the inside of a C-130 Hercules April 18. The 39th and 40th AS's from Dyess Air Force Base, Texas have three C-130s and approximately 120 Airmen at JBER for Red Flag-Alaska. RF-Alaska is a Pacific Air Forces-directed field training exercise for the U.S. and coalition forces flown under simulated air combat conditions.
