RAF squadron travels half way around world to participate in RF-Alaska
JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- Royal Air Force Flight Sgt. Mark Oakman, a member of the No. 47 Squadron from Brize Norton Station, United Kingdom, kneels as he talks over the radio to the pilots in a U.K. C-130 Hercules during Red Flag-Alaska 11-3 Aug. 22. The 47th traveled from the U.K. with 56 members of the RAF to participate in RF-Alaska.
