RAF squadron travels half way around world to participate in RF-Alaska
JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- A C-130 Hercules from the United Kingdom Royal Air Force?s No. 47 Squadron takes off Aug. 22 during a sortie for Red Flag-Alaska 11-3. The 47th traveled from the U.K. with 56 members of the RAF to participate in RF-Alaska, which takes place from Aug. 15 through 26.
