611th CES crew starts construction project 3,000 miles from home at Wake Island
Staff Sgt. Andrew Worrick, 611th CES electrician, adjusts caution tape on an anchor for a Sprung structure. A three-man crew from the 611th formed the advance team to install the anchors before the rest of the 7-man team arrived. The advance team installed about 26 pairs of manta-ray anchors in the pavement to keep the frame of the Sprung structure secure. (Photo by U.S. Air Force Capt. Amy Hansen)
