BROOMBALL with the ACES

Soldiers and Airmen assigned to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson had a chance to play broomball against Anchorage’s ECHL professional hockey team, the Alaska Aces, during a game held at the Elmendorf fi tness center Nov. 9. The Alaska Aces won the Kelly Cup in 2010 as champions of the 19-team ECHL. They handed out free tickets to games for their military appreciation weekend at the conclusion of the game.
