Load Crew Comp
Tech. Sgt. Timothy Tuttle, an Air Reserve Technician with the 477th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Weapons Flight starts the Auxiliary Power Unit on an F-22 during the 1st Quarter Load Crew Competition. The APU is used to operate the aircrafts weapons bay doors during the loading of the AIM 120 air-to-air missile. Tuttle along with an active duty and a Reserve maintainer make up the three-man team that took first place in the competition. (U.S. Air Force/Tech. Sgt. Dana Rosso)
