A friendly bout of KARATE

Elisabeth Gibbs, 9, and Clayton Palmer, 10, spar during an Alaska Friendship Karate Tournament held at the Fairview Recreation Center in Anchorage, Aug. 25. The tournament was held as a practice for a championship coming in April. Palmer is a student of Flores' Tang Soo Do classes held at the Arctic Oasis Community Center, and is the son of Spc.
