95th Chemical Company Battle Drills
JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska ? Pvt. Andrew Widell, 95th Chemical Company, 6th Engineer Battalion, of Grantsburg, Wis., pulls perimeter security during battle drills at the Infantry Squad Battle Course, JBER-Richardson, September 25, 2012. The small unit?s ability to accomplish its mission often depends on the Soldiers? ability to execute key actions quickly with minimal leader commands. During the exercise, Soldiers were exposed to various scenarios requiring them to react to contact, react to ambush, react to and report improvised explosive devices, and interact with local indigenous personnel, to include key leader engagements.
