Single service members get a boost with JBER program

Fourteen members of the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson Better Opportunities for Single Service members program attend a snow machine trip in Petersville, Alaska, Feb. 12. The JBER BOSS program focuses on single service members on JBER, to help enhance their morale, living environment, and personal growth and development. In addition to hosting trips, events, and morale activities, BOSS also offers volunteer opportunities and addresses quality-of-life issues that affect singles – such as barracks and dormitory enhancements. The program is also planning to offer more opportunities for single parents in the future. (Courtesy photo)
