Arctic Thunder Open House is back on Saturday and Sunday, July 31-31!

The event features Army and Air Force units and will highlight the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, Alaska Joint Forces capabilities demonstrations and the F-22 Demonstration Team, among several others.

Media are invited to come out July 29, when media will have a chance to speak with several air show performers. In order to attain media accreditation for the show, all media personnel attending must fill out a media accreditation form, sign our media ground rules agreement, and email the forms to jber.pa.mediaops@us.af.mil by noon, July 28.

Media outlets capable of live broadcasting via TV or radio are encouraged to secure space for the Arctic Thunder 2016 Open House when they submit their accreditation information. There are limited spaces available with clear lines of sight to the airfield and will be reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis.

No external power will be available. Please bring what you’ll need to be self-sufficient.

Media representatives will be allowed to leave a vehicle on JBER for live broadcasting purposes, to limit set-up time on multiple days of the ATOH.

All media will be given access to JBER at the Post Road Gate, July 29-31. Special media parking passes will be issued to those who RSVP.

Media opportunities will include:

July 25: Blue Angels and Fat Albert arrives on JBER

July 28: Blue Angels plane-side interview
