673d Air Base Wing, JBER get new commander

JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- Air Force Col. George Dietrich will take command of the 673d Air base Wing and Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson from Air Force Col. Brian Bruckbauer in a change of command ceremony at Hangar 1, July 11 at 10 a.m.

Dietrich is coming to JBER from Travis Air Force Base, Calif., where he was the 60th Mission Support Group commander. Bruckbauer will go to New York City where he will serve as the Air Force Fellow to Liaison for the Council on Foreign Relations.

Media escorts will meet media at the Boniface Gate at 9:15 a.m. to escort them to the event location.
