Media Advisory: 3rd Wing to host change-of-command ceremony July 15

U.S. Air Force Col. Kevin Jamieson will turn over command of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson’s 3rd Wing to U.S. Air Force Col. Charles Schuck in a change-of-command ceremony July 15 at 10:03 a.m. 

Schuck was previously the commander of the 33rd Operations Group, located at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.

Schuck was commissioned in 2002 upon graduation from the United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics. He was a distinguished graduate from Joint Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training; graduated from the U.S. Air Force Weapons School; and finished the Joint Advanced Warfighting School of National Defense University. He has served as an instructor pilot, weapons school instructor and evaluator, as well as in multiple command roles.

He is a command pilot with more than 2,150 flight hours. He has flown the F-35A, F-22A, F-15C/D, T-38A/C, and T-37.
