Air Mobility Command Airmen and the Indigenous Nations Equality Team (INET) will be visiting Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) on May 15.

The AMC contingent, led by Maj. Gen. Gary McCue, Air National Guard Assistant to the commander, will meet with students of Alaska Military Youth Academy to demonstrate opportunities the Air and Space Force provides as well as showcase life as an AMC Airmen.

Static aircraft will be on display and Airmen will be available to answer community member’s questions.

The event is part of Air Mobility Command’s “Warriors Recruiting Warriors” initiative, which focuses on overcoming barriers to Native Americans in military service. Previous trips for this diversity and inclusion initiative included visits to North Dakoka and Arizona tribal lands.

Any media interested in attending can RSVP to the 673 Air Base Wing at jber.pa.mediaops@us.af.mil.
