JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska – From July 27 through Aug. 13, residents near Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson can expect increased aircraft noise and traffic.
Aircraft participating in the Arctic Thunder Open House will create more noise for surrounding communities and cause increased flight activity above the installation from July 27 to July 31.
Exercise RED FLAG-Alaska 22-3 will also cause an increased presence of military aircraft and jet noise throughout the community from July 28 to Aug. 13.
