JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- The 773d Civil Engineer Squadron snow control team’s annual parade of snow-removal vehicles, Oct. 4, 2021, at 11 a.m., marks the coming of the winter season at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.
The Airmen and civilians of the snow control service team ensure JBER’s runways, streets, and parking areas are clear and safe so JBER Arctic Warriors can execute their mission. The team was once again recognized for their dedication during the 2020-2021 snow-removal season when the 773d CES was awarded the Balchen/Post Award in the military airport category.
The parade is expected to draw a crowd of observers along the parade route. Spectators are limited to individuals with installation access. JBER COVID-19 mitigation protocols must be adhered to.
