JBER Public Health Emergency extends 30 days

JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska – The Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson installation commander has renewed the Public Health Emergency (PHE) declared on Nov. 9 for an additional 30 days. JBER remains in Health Protection Condition CHARLIE due to sustained community transmission of COVID-19. The PHE renewal will go into effect at midnight Dec. 8, 2020 and will terminate automatically Jan. 7, 2021 unless it is renewed or terminated sooner.

The JBER Order for Restrictions on Movement and Activities and the Exception to Policy process for temporary base access remain in effect for the duration of the renewal.
