JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- Media is invited to cover the aerial demonstration and aircraft static display portion of the JBER Salutes event to show appreciation for nearly 100 Anchorage area “COVID Heroes” and their guests Friday, July 10 from 4 to 5 p.m.
The essential workers, who were nominated for their support to Alaska during the COVID-19 pandemic, will tour various areas of the installation, view exhibits, and demonstrations by Military Working Dog, Explosive Ordnance Disposal, and CBRN teams. Spectators will also view a Joint Forces Demonstration, an F-22 Raptor aerial demonstration, and numerous aircraft on display.
Media will be given the opportunity to interview event organizers, participants and spectators. B-roll of events earlier in the day will be provided to the news media.
