JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- Tech. Sgt. Gage Southard, an Airman assigned to the 673d Communications Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, died this morning in Wasilla, Alaska. The death is currently under investigation. Next of kin have been notified.
“The loss of Tech. Sgt. Southard is devastating. My deepest condolences and prayers are with Tech. Sgt. Southard’s wife and family, and his fellow Airmen,” said Col. Patricia Csànk, Joint Base Commander. “This is a tragedy for our entire team.”
