JBER supports National Night Out

First responders from the 673d Air Base Wing will join local law enforcement, community leaders and residents at the Mountain View Boys & Girls Club, 315 Price Street, Anchorage, from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, August 6, 2019, to celebrate the communities 19th  annual National Night Out crime and drug prevention event.

 

The 673d Security Forces Squadron will have an information booth, a static display, and a Military Working Dog demo team. JBER’s fire department will have a smokehouse on display during this free community event.

 

“National Night Out is a very important event for the Mt. View community and JBER as we continue to build and strengthen bonds,” said Lt. Col. Richard Zeigler, 673d Security Forces Squadron commander. “We are honored to be a part of such a great community.”

 

National Night Out is a community-building campaign that promotes law enforcement-community partnerships, and neighborhood camaraderie.
