3rd AEW Airmen depart for Agile Reaper 23-1

Airmen assigned to the 3rd Air Expeditionary Wing depart Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Feb. 24, 2023. The Airmen are traveling Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands for exercise Agile Reaper 23-1. AR 23-1 is the 3rd Air Expeditionary Wing’s effort to exercise Agile Combat Employment and allows personnel to rehearse capabilities to provide air dominance, global mobility, and command/control for the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command commander.

3rd MUNS receives munitions, largest Air Force barge operation

U.S. Airmen with the 3rd Munitions Squadron offload BLU-111 munitions at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, April 12, 2022. Over the course of eight days, the 3rd MUNS received the largest barge operation for the Air Force totaling 150,000 pounds of explosive weight. This is the 3rd MUNS annual inventory restock of both training and real-world munitions.
