A1C Sauer supports 4 wings, Alaskan Command, US Army Alaska and the 732d Air Mobility Squadron as a Command Post Controller. Her rapid alerting actions led to the rapid launch of three Search and Rescue missions enabling the immediate response of Guardian Angels, leading to the rescue of two individuals. Additionally, A1C Sauer’s attention to detail played a vital role in flight following more than 20 AMC aircraft and Prime Knighting over 120 crew members with minimal delays. Finally, she was commended by a member of the NORAD IG team for her calm composure during a recent no-notice inspection in which her contributions resulted in a “Mission Ready” grade.
