ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- U.S. Air Force Academy and University of Alaska Anchorage hockey teams competed at the Avis Alaska Sports Complex in Anchorage, Alaska, Oct. 21, 2023. UAA took an early lead, scoring in the first 38 seconds of the game before tallying up two more goals to put the Seawolves ahead 3-0 in second period. USAFA rallied to tie the game 3-3 by the end of the third period, forcing overtime. The Air Force Academy's Austin Schwartz broke the tie in USAFA's favor, securing the Falcon's first win against UAA in Alaska since 1974.
