Arctic Warriors receive NJP Published Sept. 5, 2008 ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Article 15s: An airman first class from the 3rd Mission Support Group received an Article 15 for a DUI and a failure to obey a lawful order. The punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of airman, suspended reduction to airman basic, forfeiture of $100 pay per month for two months, 45 days restriction to base, 30 days of which were suspended, 45 days extra duty, 30 days of which were suspended, and a reprimand. An airman first class from the 3rd Maintenance Group received an Article 15 for dereliction of duty and failure to obey a lawful order. The punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of airman and 30 days extra duty. An airman first class from the 3rd Mission Support Group received a vacation action for underage drinking. The punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of airman. An airman basic from the 3rd Maintenance Group received an Article 15 for underage drinking, DUI, and attempting to secretly bring minors onto the military installation without disclosing their presence in the vehicle. The punishment consisted of 21 days restriction to base and 21 days extra duty. Discharges: An airman first class from the 3rd Medical Group was administratively discharged for drug abuse. The member received a general discharge. A senior airman from the 3rd Medical Group was administratively discharged for drug abuse. The member received a general discharge. A staff sergeant from the 3rd Medical Group was administratively discharged for drug abuse. The member received a general discharge.
