With Halloween upon us, the 3rd Dental Squadron would like provide a few reminders about the "sweet" holiday. This is the one day out of the year when it is acceptable to indulge in sticky and gooey candy; even the 3rd Dental Squadron partakes in this event.

We do want to forewarn you; too much candy can make you sick and cause cavities. We would like to give everyone a friendly reminder to brush twice a day and get that string we call "floss" in between your teeth at least once a day.

When we brush and floss we remove all of the plaque (a mixture of food and harmful bacteria) from our mouth leaving an environment which promotes healthy gums and teeth. Enjoy those tantalizing treats, but make sure to keep cavities away by practicing prevention, brushing and flossing daily.
