LSET converges on Elmendorf Published Oct. 14, 2008 ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- The wing will have a mixture of officers and enlisted inspectors representing Pacific Air Forces, Air Mobility Command and Air Combat Command converge on the 3rd Wing Oct. 19 for the 2008 Logistics Standardization and Evaluation Team inspection. Beginning Oct. 20 the team will officially begin to evaluate maintenance practices for quality and efficiency. "It is time to show case your programs and demonstrate your technical skills," said Col. Michael Arceneaux, 3rd Maintenance Group commander. "Throughout the week inspectors will critique your programs and accomplish personal evaluations to evaluate job proficiency, degree of training, and compliance with technical data." The team will inspect the 3rd Logistics Readiness Squadron, the five squadrons of 3rd MXG and the 477th Maintenance Group. "This team will look at all phases of our maintenance culture," said Chief Master Sgt. Martin Page, quality assurance superintendent. "They'll assess everything from personal evaluations to our FOD (foreign object damage) program." The LSET inspection will end Oct. 24. "Let's welcome the team and show them what Team Elmendorf is all about," said Colonel Arceneaux.
