Many moms find themselves wondering "will I ever get my body back after having a baby?" A couple of new moms here are determined to reach their goals and are doing a admirable job.

Different diets work for different people but basically they all are all based around the same idea.

Tiffany Wickes, mom to Nolan Adam Wickes 9-and-a-half months said, "I follow the old trusty eat more whole grains, fresh fruit and veggies, and cut out excess processed foods and sugars. In addition, I drink lots of water, never soda."

Staff Sgt. Rhiannon Willard, mom to Wyatt age 5 and Harley Willard age 4-and-a-half months, said, "I participate in LA Weight Loss. They offer a structured meal plan including all food groups and portion control. All foods are measured, weighed and accounted for."

Obstacles are always something that need to be overcome, and as you might imagine - just like everyone else - both of these motivated moms had to overcome theirs.

Mrs. Wickes was training for a marathon, with a small baby and snow still on the ground; she stayed focused and in the end was able to overcome her obstacle. "I want to be fit, healthy and sexy for myself and my husband." Sergeant Willard used an approach that worked best for her goals. "I hate plateaus; I stay motivated by going to LA Weight Loss, where you have a one - on -one counseling session three days a week with a counselor where you can 'confess your sins'." she said.

Both moms work out routinely to stay fit. Their workouts consist of running and exercising three times a week. Sergeant Willard runs three miles in 30 minutes or does 45 minutes on the elliptical and Mrs. Wickes trains for marathons and does crunches and pushups.
When asked to give advice for other moms out there that may be wondering if they can achieve the same goals, Sergeant Willard brought up a great point. "I would advise mom's to stick with it, it takes nine months to put on the weight and it's going to take just as long to take it off." she said. "Don't get worked up with weight fluctuation, it happens, as long as the overall trend is down. Always try to avoid the BLT's (bites, licks and tastes- they all add up.)"

Both moms are doing an excellent job and are reaching the goals that they have set for themselves.

"You can achieve your goals as long as they are realistic." said Mrs. Wickes. "It's easy to get caught up in the I'm tired, life is making me bonkers so I don't have the energy to work on my body, when in reality when you are fit and you eat right you begin to have more energy than you would ever have dreamed possible."
