Arctic Warriors receive NJP

ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska --  Article 15s:

An airman first class from the 3rd Maintenance Group received an Article 15 for using the government travel card for unauthorized purchases. The punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to airman and 30 days extra duty.

An airman first class from the 3rd Medical Group received an Article 15 for underage drinking. The punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to airman, 14 days restriction, suspended 14 days of extra duty.

A staff sergeant from the 3rd Mission Support Group received an Article 15 for a DUI. The punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to senior airman.

A senior airman from the 3rd Mission Support Group received a vacation action for failing to go to the appointed place of duty at the time prescribed. The punishment consisted of a forfeiture of $200.

A senior airman from the 3rd Mission Support Group received an Article 15 for dereliction of the duties. The punishment consisted of a reduction to airman first class, a suspended reduction to the grade of airman, and 45 days extra duty.

An airman first class from the 3rd Mission Support Group received an Article 15 for assault. The punishment consisted of a reduction to airman, suspended forfeiture of $754, and 45 days extra duty.

Discharges:

A senior airman from the 3rd Maintenance Group was administratively discharged for failure to perform assigned duties properly. The member received an honorable discharge.

An airman basic from the 3rd Mission Support Group was administratively discharged for committing wrongful appropriation and forgery. The member received a general discharge.

An airman from the 3rd Mission Support Group was administratively discharged minor disciplinary infractions. For the misconduct the member received one letter of counseling, five letters of reprimand and an Article 15. The member received a general discharge. 

A senior airman from the 3rd Operations Group was administratively discharged for minor disciplinary infractions. For the misconduct the member received six letters of reprimand, an unfavorable information file and an Article 15. The member received a general discharge.

An airman basic from the 3rd Mission Support Group was administratively discharged for failure to obey a lawful general order, dereliction of duty and drug abuse. The member received a general discharge.
