6 Airmen receive nonjudicial punishment Published May 26, 2009 ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- An airman 1st class from the 3rd Medical Group received an Article 15 for being insubordinate. The punishment was a suspended reduction to airman and 30 days extra duty. An airman 1st class from the Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency received an Article 15 for drinking in the dorms and drinking underage. The punishment was a reduction to airman, suspended forfeitures of $784 for two months, restriction to Elmendorf AirĀ Force BaseĀ for 35 days, and 35 days extra duty. An airman 1st class from the 3rd Mission Support Group received an Article 15 for underage drinking. The punishment was a reduction to airman, forfeitures of $400 for two months, suspended forfeitures of $200 for two months, restriction to Elmendorf AFB for 20 days, suspended restriction to Elmendorf AFB for 10 days, and 30 days extra duty. A senior airman from the Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency received an Article 15 for drinking in the dorms and drinking underage. The punishment was a reduction to airman 1st class, suspended forfeitures of $929 for two months, restriction to Elmendorf AFB for 30 days, and 30 days extra duty. An airman 1st class from the 3rd Maintenance Group received an Article 15 for underage drinking, drunk driving, and fleeing apprehension. The punishment was a reduction to airman, suspended reduction to airman basic, suspended forfeiture of $300 for two months, 21 days extra duty, and a reprimand. A staff sergeant from Air Mobility Command received an Article 15 for engaging in conduct prejudicial to good order and discipline. The punishment was a reduction to senior airman, and a reprimand.
