Computer software training

A Pacific Air Forces team will visit Elmendorf July 7-16 to showcase the capabilities of the Microsoft Office SharePoint 2007 Server used across the Major Command.

Their purpose is two-fold. First, they will offer training to Arctic Warriors on web-based capabilities that include setting up a virtual project workspace, real-time interaction between the Microsoft Office Suites and the Web sites hosted on SharePoint 2007, and introduce MAJCOM workflow solutions such as the "Evaluation Management System" and "Next Generation E-Staffing" which will replace PACMAN.

Second, they will certify content managers across the base to provide local support and training for newcomers and new applications.

Everyone is invited to attend the introductory brief at the Susitna Club during your unit's allotted time slot.
