Airmen recieve non-judicial punishment Published Nov. 3, 2009 ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- An airman from the 3rd Operations Group received an Article 15 for failure to go and failure to complete required appointments on the pre-deployment checklist. The punishment was a suspended reduction to airman basic, 15 days extra duty and suspended 30 days extra duty. An airman first class from the 3rd Maintenance Group received an Article 15 for possessing alcohol in the dormitory. The punishment was a reduction to the grade of airman, suspended forfeitures of $784.00 pay per month for two months, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand. An airman first class from the 3rd Maintenance Group received an Article 15 for driving on Elmendorf while driving privileges were suspended. The punishment was a suspended reduction to the grade of airman, forfeitures of $784.00 pay per moth for two months, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand. An airman first class from the 3rd Maintenance Group received an Article 15 for DUI and underage drinking. The punishment was a reduction to the grade of airman basic, suspended forfeitures of $699.00 pay per month for two months, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand. A senior airman from the 3rd Maintenance Group received an Article 15 for failure to go at the time prescribed. The punishment was a suspended reduction to airman first class, forfeiture of $250.00 pay per month for two months and 14 days extra duty. An airman from the 3rd Mission Support Group received a vacation action for failure to over watch government contractors in a restricted area. The punishment was forfeitures of $100.00 pay for two months, restriction to Elmendorf for 15 days and 15 days extra duty. An airman first class from the 3rd Mission Support Group received an Article 15 for failing to keep positive control of a weapon. The punishment was a suspended reduction to airman, forfeitures of $150.00 pay per month for two months, suspended forfeitures of $150.00 pay per month for two months, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand.
